People purchase a ticket to enjoy a meal: and several artists have been selected to "pitch" their idea for the funding that comes from the sales of those dinners.
The artists allowed to pitch had to apply to an open call and enter a selection process to be considered. This happens, about twice a year.
I am writing to let you know that I have been one of 7-8 artists selected to vie for a funding source to bring one of my art installations to fruition, here in Fort Collins.

Then go with your gut and cast a vote for your favorite idea, with the winning artist taking home 100% of the evening’s proceeds to put toward their project.
