This taping airs that same night on Channel 12 (12.1 - Digital Channels) at 8:00pm and then uploaded to the web by the weekend.
How the tour will go:
On arrival at 11:15 am, we'll go to the green room to eat lunch.
Taping starts at around noon, so we'll have enough time to eat and get settled in.
After the taping is done, the crew will tear down the set, and we will tour the studio around 12:40 pm.
Dominic will cover Channel 12's History, a bit about himself, and what goes into a production.
Lane will tour the group around the station, including the main studio, and the control room. He will go over some of the production worker basics - running cameras, lighting, CG (computer graphics), the audio booth and many more!
Lane will also go over some of the associated software, hardware, production tools, and gear that goes into production!
Extras:
Please, no open-toed footwear in the studio/station.
If you're bringing a drink, please make sure it has a lid.
There is a drink and snack machine, but all food must stay in the green room.
Bring change or money for parking meters, if you park on Welton Street.
All cell phones must be off during production (Interference and audio reasons)
Sometimes the studio can be chilly, so plan accordingly. You may want to bring a light jacket or sweater.
We only have room for 8 guests, so this is a first come first serve field trip! Don't Miss out!
I think that's everything, well at least for now. If anything else comes up, I will let you know
Lane Leazer
Note: If you would like to carpool, please meet at FRCC-Larimer Campus parking lot, in front of the Art Building at 9:30 am and we will leave promptly at 9:45 am to get to the studio by 11:15 am.
